Because they have to be the best in everything, take the olympic medal upset, they were beaten by China but claim they were not as they have more medals if you include the first and second losers.

The rest of the world say otherwise. Similar to their twisted view of the scrap in Georgia, they just p**s the rest of the world off.

Their illustrious leader Dubya invented the weapons of mass deception so he could finish daddies war, didn't he just. I think the major problems started when they ballsed up Vietnam.

Im an American teen and i defiantly dont think we are the best. We are behind a lot of countries in the world especially in environmental progress and education. I think that a little healthy Patriotism is okay, but a lot of Americans have stepped over the edge into an almost nationalist rejection of anything or anyone from another country which is wrong. I am a strong believer in tolerance and acceptance of those who are different. Americans get so comfortable with their lives here that its easy to spout out insults to others, because they cant imagine themselves in others shoes. however, when it comes back on them they take everything as a shot at their lifestyle and views. I do think some people on YA are a bit free with the criticism, but it goes both ways. Why cant everyone just say their advise or opinion and be done? isnt that what YA was made for?

they have a high degree of patriotism it makes them think criticism is a form of hate for them and there country in other words they do not understand why anybody should want to criticise them.Although i think on here people tend to spout hate and not just general criticism.
