What is wrong with the following sentence?

Well grammatically it should say "DOES not agree" not "do".

But from the scientific perspective, perhaps the theory is wrong and not the experiment.

Just b/c exper. and theory dont agree does not immediately mean the results are wrong.

This could be more appropriate:

or

The experiment is a failure since the its results are inconsistent with the theoretical results.
