What is wrong with this guy who makes fun of me for no reason?

I'm in 8th grade and this guy just loves to make fun of me and being an a$$hole to me. It's really cruel stuff and NO it's not because he likes me. He absolutely hates me. There has to be something wrong with him though..Why is it that he loves to make fun of me and hurt me when I have done nothing at all to him? He knows that I ignore it and if he keeps doing it then I won't do anything back. Why does he enjoy doing this? What issues does he have..?

please IGNORE SUCH  brutes. I can understand your feelings. As long as it is not physically harmful. just ignore. They are sadists. Inform your parents.

Don't pay him any attention, and try not to worry about it.  He has no reason since you've done nothing. Maybe he's insecure and wants to make himself feel better.  In any case, if you keep ignoring him, he'll stop and move on.

You already answered the question.  He's an a$$hole.  You will meet them from time to time throughout your life.  You are doing the right thing.  Brush it off and keep stepping.

Honestly, I dealt with the same things as a kid. He probably has something going on within himself and it makes him feel better to take it out on you than to actually deal with his problem. Some people actually make fun of other people to make themself feel better.

My suggestion is to just block it out. He is not worth getting all worked up about. In fact, that might be what he wants.

i wouldn't ask him if he enjoys hurting people, then he will think hes getting the better of you, maybe something like do you like talking to yourself in the mirror, but he will probley have a rude come back. i have run into a few people like this in my life, it says nothing about you, but it does say something about him. kler829 has the good idea

Turn the tables.

Look straight at him and ask "do you get some kind of pleasure out of hurting others?"

If it's your clothes, hair etc. say "why are you so concerned about my hair, clothes, etc.?"

And then there's..

" Psychologists say people who have very low opinions of themselves like to put down and make fun of others because

it makes them feel better about themselves."

If you ask him a simple question (nicely, of course) and wait for his reply, I guarantee he will be embarrassed.  Especially in front of friends.

Make it a point to look him in the eye as you patiently wait for his answer.

If he goes for another nasty remark,  slowly shake your head and walk away.

He WILL be embarrassed.
