What is wrong with this truck , it only starts properly in cold whether?

In Cold Whether it works fine but when it is hot, if it is driven for a while and turned off, and engine is allowed to let sit for a while, it has trouble starting, engine turns on just fine but won't really start.

It would help if gave some detail on the truck,like make,year fuel injection, carburated etc.

Without knowing about the truck, my best guess would be an ignition coil going bad.
