Couldn't have said it better myself. For me, the Olympics is a great opportunity to see humans competing at the best of their abilities. Why do people blow it way out of proportion? Just enjoy it. Who cares who wins? Show class!

The Americans weren't "sore losers". Anyone would be upset to lose when you had a chance to take the gold.

China simply out performed the USA last night, regardless of Sacramone's fall... the deduction added back in still wouldn't have been enough to take down the Chinese team.

Very exciting to watch, however !

I got an excellent answer:

16 yrs they have billions of people to choose from why would they break the rules I would say their second best team would win all the medals as well and probably their third best team would as well .

People should just accept they are good gymnasts and stopped hinting that they are cheats and get with the spirit of the games which seems to be sadly lacking on yahoo tonight.

I agree being an Aussie just got up (time zones) and all the questions and innuendo are still on here.

Yes I like to see to my country win but I also enjoy watching and admire Phelps swimming and all the others that do their country proud that's what the Olympic spirit is supposed to be about.

I sometimes cringe at the Aussie win,win,win  at all cost attitude but in this respect we would get the Silver and you would get the Gold no doubt about.

Actually this is the exact reason why a lot of people think Yahoo answers should be torn down, because more than half of the "questions" are just rants or rhetorical questions fishing for the answer they want.

I agree with you.  Although I support China, I know that country representation is a very arbitrary way to decide who you like.  One should enjoy the performances the athletes are giving us.

krispie: She is not as bad as everyone else at all.  She is trying to point out that the Olympic Games are supposed to create unity, not allegations.  The Classic Olympics were important enough to even stop wars.  There's no reason the Modern Olympics should start them.  To any Chinese fan who act like arrogant winners or American fan who act like ungraceful losers, it's really time to put everything in perspective, and realize you're acting ridiculously immature.
