What is xbox live??????

Just brought a xbox 360 as a christmas pressie, but what is Xbox live? and how do I set this up??

Xbox Live is the online gaming service Microsoft offers gamers so that you can play games like Halo 3 and stuff against people from across the world! It is way easier than the traditional inviting someone over to play or doing system link and well worth paying for. Either you can use the ethernet cable and connect it to your modem and your xbox, or buy a wireless setup(available at most retail stores) link that connects to your xbox and gives it internet from the nearest internet modem.

xbox is a live media place where you can get into match making with other XBOX LIVE members.  you can play the game of your choice online with other people over the web.  you will need an ethernet cable, comes with most xbox, you plug in the ethernet into the back of the modem and into the back of the xbox.  you select xbox live on the game selector and you can play (after you sign up for $50 a year, you sign up through your xbox.  it has a guide and you just punch in all the info.  youy get a gamertag which is the name you play under.  you can play with friends on your friends list of anyone throughout the world.  its a great experience.  you should give it a try.

Its an add on subsciption service , first level of subscription is free and allows basic content , game downloads... Premium or gold subscription : communicate and play online games with people

xbox live is an online gaming experience. you play with or against people from around the world on any game that has the xbox live logo. it is really fun. you have to buy a xbox live subscription card. go to like best buy and buy an 12 month subscription card for like 50 bucks. it will tell you how to set it up
