Chavacano is a Creole Language with SIX(6) Dialects. evolved from Ancient/Old Castillan with influences from italian, portuguese, native american such as Quechua, taino, mexican-indian, etc., and from philippin austronesian such as tagalog, bisaya, hiligaynon, subanon, yakan, tausug, sama-lauan, sama-banguingui, and also from chinese and japanese languages.


    the six dialects:


    1.Caviten (chabacabo di nisos)


    2. ternateno (chabacano di bahra)


    3.ermiteno (chabacano de ermita)


    4.cotabaten (chavacano de Cotabato)


    5.zamboangueno (chavacano de zamboanga)


    6. castellano abakay (chavacano de davao) -this is the dialect with chinese and japanese influence. and it is also divide into two subgroup as follows 6.1.castellano abakay japanese, 6.2.castellano abakay chinese.


     


    Zamboangueno Chavacano for "yes" is ""Si!"
