  1. I like Ingrids K. guide..is very complete ...!

  2. "Diet for a New America" is a classic and very well-researched.  "The Food Revolution" is excellent as well.

  3. My favorite book for vegetarian cooking is hands down, "Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone" by Deborah Madison. It's a great book with over a thousand recipes and ideas. She has other books but I have gone to this one again and again, and among my huge cookbook collection I always refer to this book for simple delicious recipes involving vegetables.

  4. The most interesting books to me are:

"The Sexual Politics of Meat" by Carol J. Adams

    "Slaughterhouse" by Gail Eisnitz

"Diet For a New America" by John Robbins

"Mad Cowboy. Plain Truth from the Cattle Rancher Who Won't Eat Meat." by Howard Lyman

  5. silence of the lambs

  6. "Becoming Vegan" by Brenda Davis, R.D. & Vesanto Melina, M.S., R.D.

because it uses and cites real scientific information from studies done related to vegetarianism, has food plans, a vegan food pyramid, and helpful guides.

The authors are dieticians who are connected with the American Dietetic Association.

  7. i dont know,  :D but i like how people get a nice body when eating healthy.

  8. My favorite is "Speciesism" by Joan Dunayer. She is hardcore about the movement and researches her facts to the point of madness. Her work has a really nice flow to her work with makes it an easy book to read. Plus she isn't afraid to take a knock at hugely respected vegan philosopher/vegans such as Tom Regan & Peter Singer.

She wrote another really eye opening book call "Animal Equality - Language & Liberation". It's all about how the English language as adpted into a speech that ligitamises ignorance toward non-human consideration.

Right now I am reading "From Dusk 'till Dawn" by Keith Mann. He is an English A.L.F. activist who has dedicated his life to the cause and began writing to book, whilst in prison for his actions. He is a eally cool guy and travels around the country doing demos i small books stores and spreading the word. He's awesome.

  9. Diet for a Small Planet: Frances Moore Lappe

  10. my favorites are listed on the right of this page

they are all great must haves
