  1. I loved 'Catcher In The Rye' too. Great book, easy going and good fun.

My favourite book of all time though has to be 'The Elephant Vanishes' by Haruki Murakami. It's a great book of short stories relating to people and their attitudes in modern day Japan. It ranges from the quirky to the bizarre to fun. Definitely worth trying.

  2. Anything by James Patterson or Martina Cole brilliant authors! =)

  3. A Hustler's Wife by Nikki Turner

  4. Silverthorn - Raymond E Feist

Brilliant, well the entire trilogy was brilliant, but that was my favourite.

  5. Dangerous lady by martina cole

  6. My favourite in recent years would have to be The Stormcaller by Tom Lloyd, first in his Twilight Reign series. I almost never read fantasy books and was actually given it by accident, but I really enjoyed it.

I'm reading The Count of Monte Cristo at the moment and it's shaping up to be another favourite, classic :)

  19. Choose a favourite? Hmm. To kill a mockingbird and Of mice and men are up there, and so are 1984 and Animal farm. Titus Andronicus was like a Jerry Springer show!

One day I had a long journey and I saw a book for sale that was 99p. As I had nothing else to do, I read Around the world in 80 days and couldn't believe how different it was compared to the drivel we are shown on tv or re-writes. It has everything. You can call it an adventure story. A crime story. A friendship story. A love story. You could even call it a travel guide! It has the most fantastic twists and at the end, you have to make your own mind up.

I'm not sure if it is because I read it expecting nothing too great or if it really is such an amazing book, but (I am sure it's the latter) but for the sake of a few hours, everyone should read it.

I tend to judge a book on how I feel towards the end. If there are only a few pages left and I am sad that the book is going to finish, then it has got to be good.

So Animal Farm one day, The Wasp factory the next, but today is Around the world...-try it, it's an amazing book. (The original story.)

  20. The Twilight series and Harry Potter

  21. My all time favourite book is "Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoy. It is an amazing book that takes you on a journey back in time to a foreign country (Russia) around 1873. It is really like a time travel and Tolstoy is such a master storyteller.

Nicolai Gogol is also a great writer and his short story; "The Overcoat" is another facinating story that have inspired many famous writers.

Back in Britain; "A Dance To The Music Of Time" is a rare masterpiece.

But the all time favourite is "Anna Karenina"

  22. The Bus Guide 1982

  23. All of the Harry Potter books. I know that sounds dumb, but i grew up with Harry. I read the first book when i was 13 or 14 & then read the last one when i was 24. After those books, it Uncle Toms Cabin for sure.

  24. Has to be The Stand by Stephen King as I have read this the most about once a year since it came out.  I am on my 3rd copy now!
