Holy Island is a lovely place, linked to the mainland by a tidal causeway, in North Northumberland.

Of course, i spend most Sunday's in the North York Moors (further south), so i love them more. I go so often, but i can manage not to do the same walk more then once in a year! I just love it! And, the bus to the Moors, the Moorsbus, stops round the corner from my house in Stockton on Tees - perfect!

As the bird in the cowboy 'at says, East Sussex is gods country. Outside of southern Ireland it is surely the most beautiful place on earth

Hampstead Garden Suburb, North West London.

It's quiet and suburban but just a few miles from the hustle-and-bustle of central London.

It's nearish to some busy areas like Golders Green, East Finchley, Hampstead and Muswell Hill.

that is a difficult question as have lots of great memories from lots of lovely places

One that sticks in my mind is Box Hill, used to go there sometimes on a Sunday afternoon, have a good hike though the forest trails and then relax and take in the spectacular views of the valleys below, loved it.

London also in my heart always and miss it alot, the markets and the brilliant parks.

Also Rye lovely to visit and Tenterden and the Cotswolds a truly beautiful place.  Many to choose from, good question.

Meant to add Ashdown Forest heard is one of the best and unique open places to walk and has many hidden delights that have yet to sample!!!!
