What is your 6 - 8 year old daughter reading?

My daughter is almost 7 and loves reading. Her favourite books at the moment are the "Rainbow Magic" series by Daisy Meadows. I'd like to find out what other girls her age are reading so that I can have some ideas of other books to buy.

I'm in college but when I was 8 I loved the Ramona Quimby series... she was so adventurous! I also loved Harry Potter- it might be a little over her head but she might develop some strong vocabulary skills from reading it. Most any books are really good- The Children's Section at Barns And Noble is amazing- my mom used to take me there and she'd have to drag me out of the store because I loved reading so much; good for you that you are teaching your children to love to read- it helps in the long run.

Right now my daughter (6 yo) is hooked on the Junie B. books.  She is also reading Pony Pals and another book for school (the title slips my mind right now).  My daughter is my bookworm, lol.
