Slots are a bad bet to begin with. But, if you really enjoy playing them, play the machines with the progressive jackpots. And play enough coins to qualify for the progressive payouts. If you hit a slot, you may as well have it be a huge jackpot otherwise there is little point to playing.

My grandmother hit $21,000 on a progressive "Blazing 7's" machine if you are looking for a single game to play.
