I'm writing a story about a very beautiful female doctor named Jamie. Jamie had a homebirth with her son Richard. In this story, Jamie discusses the safety of homebirths with a nurse named Michelle. Michelle is a very obese, preppy woman. Is Michelle a good name for a nurse?

I do not think so because when i hear Michelle I think of a skinny sporty girl. I think a good name for a nurse would be Valerie

One of those names would better suit the nurse.

I thnk her name should be Michelle, but she should go by "Mickey."  Gives her more character.
