  1. Never let anyone tell you we evolve from apes.  We evolve with apes.  At one point we shared a common premordial ancestor then radically sperated from them.

As for me, Its not where we came from that matters, its where we are going.

Traditionally, we came from yeo wa and bun hwe.

  2. my theory is that god created the universe and he started the whole process of evolution and helped it along and from there he made sure things went the way they're supposed to.... :]

  3. I am still checking it out.

  4. i dont have one, because im not a scientist, but the aquatic ape theory seems pretty plausible to me.

  5. Fair is fair. As certainly someone is going to pull the Genesis story out, let's give equal time to another, just as plausible, creation narrative:

"warm winds blew over the frozen world and it started to melt. Later, due to the hot winds, the water evaporated and began to make clouds. From one of this clouds, YMIR (|MIR), the Frost Giant, was born. He was also called AURGELMIR (AURGELMIR) among the giants.

YMIR is the first living being and, thus, is the forefather giants, gods and humans. He was able to survive because he drank the milk from the cow AUDUMLA (AUDUMLA), which was born from the melted ice. AUDUMLA’s milk wasn’t just nutritive, it also had magical properties. AUDUMLA survived l*****g the crystals of salt in the ice"

"The three Aesir , Ódin, Hnir and Lodur, who create the first human beings out of two pieces of wood, a man called Askr and a woman called Embla."

  6. I don't have one.  I'll go with what the scientist say.

  7. Check out this link it may help.

  8. That we continue to waste our potential as a species with hatred and bigotry and intolerance.  Sometimes I wonder why we climbed out of the trees in the first place.

  9. People didn't evolve from monkies.  They evolve from Sahelanthropus.

I still believe the traditional creation myth of my ancestors.

  10. Humans differ from other primates because of special brain functions.  It allows us to see the future and the past, consequences, moral judgements etc etc that makes us unique in the animal kingdom.

Look for the one spark that triggered this transformation from monkey butt s*x to conqueror.

  11. Uh, I'm not real big on the monkey story (for evolution, for AIDS or whatever else the liberals and nincompoops come up with).

  12. The theory of evolution by natural selection is one of the most elegant, yet robust theories in science. It is the only theory which provides a plausible answer to why lions and my pet cat look so similar. It explains the relationships of every organism on Earth, their similarities and differences. It has, since being published by Darwin over 150 years ago, been supported by every branch of science, from archaeology to DNA bioscience to zoology. There is no evidence which does not support it. Objections to it are religious, not scientific.

It is supported by 99% of all scientists, it does not require a disbelief in a higher being to understand. It is recognised by nearly all the major religions, including the Catholic Church. The main objectors to it are the fundamentalist Christian Evangelicals in the USA. Outside the US the understanding of evolution is much higher than within the US, along with other areas of science.

  13. I accept the theory of evolution by natural selection, even though many in anthropology would suck the life blood from the theory.
