What is your advice to make a week trip from Cannes to Monte Carlo during June?

I am willing to visit this area and needed to know better transportation and places to stop over. I personally willing to rent a motorcycle and drive but I am not sure if it is the best way or not. I am not willing to drive by car. Also needed places to spend nights. Do you think that sleeping on the beach is allowed?

Sleeping on the beach is illegal.  My advice is to bring PLENTY of cash because you are going to need it!
