What is your average electric bill per month?

I live in the Bahamas and wonder is anywhere else in the world's electricity bills are as high as ours.

An average residential electricity bill in Nassau, Bahamas is between $1,000-1,500 per month. if you live in a larger house it can be up to $3,000..

the supermarket - Solomons (similar to a WalMart) pays roughly $100,000 per month

and one of the large hotels Atlantis pays $1 million!

Guest 5881,  I just thought I'd point out that the exchange rate in the Bahamas is 1 to 1 with the US dollar. One Bahamian Dollar = One American Dollar, in fact, people in the Bahamas use the two currencies interchangeably.
