Aside from the standard stuffed toys and blankets that my son loves, his most prized "possession" is the headset for our computer. He discovered it when he was about 9 months old and has loved it ever since. He also loves any other set of headphones that he can find. What about your babies?

  1. Telephones! My daughter has always been fascinated with phones since she was a baby. She is three now and still loves them. Aside from that, she has a little Hello Kitty that she sleeps with every night and has it in her hand when she gets up in the morning. She hardly ever lets that thing out of her sight!

  2. She loves cell phones!

  3. the t.v remote or our cell phones.

they can see one from across the room and that will be the only thing of all toys in their way that they will see and try and get to.

  4. My steering wheel!

When we are sitting in the car waiting for the baby sitter I bring her into the front seat with me.  She has started to recognize the place where we meet the sitter and starts getting excited because she knows that I will bring her up front.  She loves chewing on the steering wheel and if she honks the horn that's just a bonus! She starts cracking up laughing.

Her lovey is "baby monkey", a little blue stuffed monkey with a rattle in it's belly, she carries that filthy thing everywhere with her, and if it's not there when it's sleepy-time then look out!

  5. The TV Remote. She ABSOLUTELY LOVES it! She would rather play with it than any other toy she has, And trust me, she has a TON of toys! Its so funny how babies usually prefer pots & pans, Cell phones, TV remotes, boxes, ect....than actually toys!!!

  6. My daughter things my glasses are God's gift to babies! She pulls them off my face about 42 times a day!

  7. A puzzle piece. He has a puzzle with animals. He loves the monkey puzzle piece. He carries it with him everywhere. He cries if we forget it at home. He found it when he was 14 months old and he is two now and still loves it.

  8. The oddest thing - probably an old easter egg.....she goes for it first thing i the toy basket.  She takes it apart and attempts to put it back together (which she cannot do and it makes her very angry).

Her most prized possession - just her soft blankie...she won't sleep without it and I cannot find another one.

  9. my baby gets really excited about the coasters on our coffee table.  i try to hide them because i don't want him to play with them (they are heavy stone like) but I can't move them too far because we use them.  he practically jumps out of my arms when he gets a peek of them.

  10. the tv remote- typical man really!!! but hes only 5 months!

  11. My daughter, now 2 1/2, had a thing for toothbrushes as an infant.  One day while changing her I was grabbing for anything that I could hand her to look at so she'd lie still.  She was four months old, and I handed her a toothbrush. She immediately held it over her head with both hands and made a funny "Oooh, Aaaah" kind of sound.  We got a kick out of it and she had a thing for toothbrushes for along time after, even requiring that one be handy in the car.  I cleaned out her toybox recently and found no fewer than 6 toothbrushes in the bottom of it.

Currently her favorite thing is a white floursack dishtowel, which alternates between a wedding veil, baby doll blanket, horse blanket, supergirl cape, scarf, "gift" wrap, and many more fun things.  Other dish towels will do in a pinch, but the big white one is her favorite.  We often find them around the house with various dolls or other objects wrapped up in them.

  12. My hair-whenever he can get his stubby little fingers around it, he tries to pull it, eat it, you name it.
