A little something to wet our lips while our favorite teams are doing two a days.

Being a TX fan- mine is pretty obvious. The 2006 Rose Bowl (actually went to that game). We also had some great games v Nebraska in the 90's when we were starting to play better and NU was dominant. Those are my favorite memories- what are yours?

  1. LSU Vs Arkansaw

  2. Being a Georgia Tech fan, my best college football memory is when they beat Nebraska 45-21 in the 1991 Citrus Bowl to win the 1990 National Championship.  They finshed the season 11-0-1 and it was an exciting time for Jacket fans!  My second favorite is when they beat Georgia in Athens in 1998 with a last second field goal 21-19.

  3. OSU was number 1, Ron, and defending national champion. They also beat Michigan the year before 50-14. It started the "Ten year war" between Bo and Woody.

As for my favorite memories. I have 2, one a game I went to, the 96 Rose bowl between Arizona State and OSU. ASU fans were such A holes, to pull the game out at the end like that was very exciting. OSU at the time would get ranked very high, only to lose to michigan and the bowl game every year. It was one of the few highlights of the cooper years at the end of a season.

The second is when OSU was down by 28 or so to Illinios, and Keith Byars ran for 270some yards to lead OSU back to victory. I remember him telling the camera that OSU was coming back to start the second half and the announcers making fun of him. On on of his 50+ yard runs, his shoe flew off, and his sock was flapping in the wind. I was just a kid, and it was one of my first football memories.

  4. Vince young beating a USC team that was never supposed to lose. That was amazing

  6. The 1994 Auburn-LSU game, when Auburn returned three interceptions for touchdowns to win the game. That will never happen again.

  7. The 'earthquake game' between Auburn and LSU where LSU won 7-6. Tommy Hodson threw the game winning touchdown with 1:30 remaining and the LSU fans jumped up all at once and when they came down they registered on the seismograph at the university.

The 'orange' game between LSU and FSU.  The winner would go to the Orange Bowl and when the game started to turn into a rout for LSU the fans just plastered the field with fresh oranges.
