  1. I have a big aloe vera plant - I cut off a couple of leaves, peel back the outer skin and rub gooey inside on the sunburn.

It works great on all types of burns.

  2. A cold beer!

  3. Aloe Vera, sour milk or yogurt, vinegar, fresh tomato.

  4. Old folk remedies: 2 bayer aspirin (reduces nerve sensitivity and swelling AS LONG as your stomach isn't bothered by it); boil some tea bags-especially if you have chamomile but any will do. This is most expedient as tea reduces sting, swelling, soreness, and soothes the burn with natural alkaloids. Throw the bags on ice and gently lay on skin. You can also use the tincture of boiled tea to add to a cooling bath. Another is oatmeal baths: simply adding semi-warm or cool water with a cup or so of oatmeal in a small cheesecloth sack-readily found mixes at local pharmacy stores; aloe already mentioned; avoid most store bought moisturizers; they typically will "lock in" heat-burnt skin needs to "breathe." Pharmacy suncare products also carry great skin sprays like bactine, etc. Benadryll is also very useful and comes in a gel. As beach kids frequently burned- we used to drink 3 glasses of fresh squeezed orange juice with a slice of lime. It actually boosts the immune system to reduce swelling, pain, etc. Get those loose fitting cotton clothes out. When your skin begins to heal and dry; usually flaking..cocoa butter oil or almond oil mixed with a small amount of virgin olive oil works best: use small amounts. Hope you feel better. :)

  5. aloe vera

and keep your skin really moisturized

  6. lay cold wet green tea bags on the areas burned

  7. Alka-Seltzer (plain) in 240 Mil's of water, soak a swab or lint the size of the burn, squeeze out leaving enough moisture to cool the burn, and continue to use the liquid as the moisture dry's out.

Unfortunately it only come in a box of 10 or so, don't worry once tried? you will never want to be without them
