I love bougainvillea. I like all the different colors, the way it can climb, or be pruned into a shrub or a small tree.

My all-time favorite is the rose.  Can't be beat for beauty, fragrance and stamina.  Because roses come in so many forms (climbing, bush, miniature, etc...) there is one for every part of the garden or in the house.

I love bulbs, you can plant them in such a way that your garden has flowers in them all summer long.

difficult to answer.  a single gardenia will fill a room with fragrance, while in the yard peonies and roses make for spectacular display.  i'm also partial to night blooming jasmine.
