What is your computer science job like?

What do you do? What type of company do you work for?

I work for a small department of the State of California, doing IT support.  Since we're small, our IT group is just 3 guys, including the boss--so we each do a little of everything.  I answer the help desk line, install & configure software, maintain the servers, manage tape backup jobs, and whatever else needs to be done.  And there's often time to spend on Slashdot etc. to keep current with what's happening in the computer field.
