  8. Well let's see.

My dad's side is Italian.  He died when I was young, and unfortunately as a result I don't get to see my Italian side as often as I'd like.  But as my wife said after meeting them all last year - 'Dear God, it's like an episode of The Sopranos threw up in there'.  :)

My mom's side is Japanese.  Hard to give an exact answer on that, as my grandmother came to the states with my grandpa after the Korean war.  The fact that she left to come here with a white man did not go over well, and now that she's dead I will likely lose any connection to that side of the family.

  9. i am going to say that  i changed my name, i did not like "my culture"    now i kept my mother's name,  but the culture of my father, i would not follow, and i have as little to do with it as possible,  (i guess that was not an answer you were looking for)    i just am an american who does not even fit into this culture, no suits, no button down shirts, no shoes,     long hair,    beard,       why wear a suit and shoes,  i used to get so made fun of for having nice clothes and sharp looks,

culture,     there are countries in Europe i would prefer to live within and countries within the orient,

to give you and idea of what cultures i do not want to fit into much,   the southwest, i do not furnish my home with that flavor, and i do not have black influence,   i tend to be more Scandanavian than anything,   or just plain,    whatever, i know this is not culture, but art deco is still a hep influence,   but just a tiny bit,

i don,t have a home i live in a crummy furnished room that i do not call home, i would not live like this,

beliefs,   i haven,t been to church in decades,

music, i do not own a radio, or tape player or anything to listen to music, my television is broken and that is how it is going to stay,

i am a bummed out person who does not want to fit into society,   i am not wanted,  i can,t wait to get out of this culture, lol,   seriously

i don,t like parades at least not to attend,    i have been in enough of them in the Army,      but my culture in new York city revolved around parades, now i have told you what and where i come from,

and to seriously change my name so i can avoid those people, you may understand how i feel, about them, i want to put as much distance between them and me as possible,         religion, i don,t attend those large churchs, in new york city and such cities,

this culture has always revolved around hate to me,       i am sorry if you are of this culture,    well, sorry that i do not fit,      you enjoy your culture and being,        have a nice day and time and life,
