  1. Up, eat BF, bath, play period, outside if it's nice, lunch, long walk, supper, bath, PJ's , bottle and off to bed.

The activities during the day change.

  2. Babies don't really need to to be entertained like older kids.  They need a good routine and lots of stimulation but not really entertaining.   As long as you make sure they're fed, changed, clean and go to bed at the same time every day, they'll be fine.  Walks in the park, being read to or playing with some empty plastic bottles filled with pasta are just as stimulating for them as all those expensive fancy baby toys.

  3. Well my daughter is now four, but when she was little I used to carry her in a pouch/ sling so that we could always talk and be close, she could see what I was doing and it kept her entertained and more importantly I could get on with my life a bit. I would also take her to either a morning or afternoon playgroup for something to do and to make her tired. Then dinner around 5:30, then stories and bed at seven. Always make sure to get them up at the same time each morning and put them down at the same time each night. Good luck.

  4. Now that my daughter is crawling and cruising the furniture, most of our daily routine involves me moving things out of her way, chasing after her or comforting her when she falls!  The rest of it is basically eating, sleeping and getting some fresh air.

  5. routine revolves around sleep and eating (for my 10 month old girl)!

I think a great help entertaining her is having other children around, any age up to 8 or 9 years let's say. Someone who can come often and who baby will feel comfortable with. Kids spark off kids, and babies are no different!
