I wish I could find a picture of what I have in mind, but alas I have not found it yet.

I'm not the traditional type, and our wedding will be semi-formal. My fiance will wear a suit instead of a tux, his best man just in nice dress clothes, and my MOH in a less formal dress of her choosing. This  of course means my dress isn't the big formal dress with the train and all that.

So..What I have in mind (but can't seem to find anywhere online) is a white dress. At the top it would be slightly off the shoulders with a short sleeve of some kind. The length would fall somewhere between just below my knees to just at my ankles. The bottom should be flowy or ripply. It's really hard for me to explain, which is probably why I'm having a hard time finding it!

In my head it's really pretty. If I could take a picture of my mind and show you, it'd probably make more sense...lol.

Your dream dress is very pretty, but could you add to it just a bit and make it more unique?  Have you noticed that all wedding gowns lately have this sleeveless bodice?  It's getting boring.  So add a tiny droop sleeve (or very thin strap) for a feminine touch, which will make you appear to have more of a silhouette figure also.  Just that one little addition will make your gown stand out from the rest.  Something like the photo here, but thinner, and dangling instead of high on the shoulder

Your dream dress is very beautiful and I can safely assume that it's probably the style of everyone's fairytale dream dress at one age or another :)

I actually recently tried one on like that and it was funny how the minute I walked over to the big mirrors everyone just stopped and said you look like a princess!!!

I loved the dress and all the tulle and everything but when I closed my eyes and truly thought about my wedding, I saw a completely different vision... this is the dress I'm getting:

The worst I've ever seen was on a girl with really large chest and a deep v neck which was just appalling. It was a very intimate wedding with only 30 family members or even less ... no dancing or anything but the dress was just too much... and everything seemed to be crushed into the dress.
