What is your experience with UPS?

Question

Everytime they deliver they ring the door bell one time and leave my package in front of my door. I mean there gone so fast by the time I answer the door they are already in the van driving away.Don't I need to sign something? Shouldn't they make sure I am home? They have left packages in front of my door out there for hours. What if someone steals it? Are they responsible or am I? I get packages from Fed-EX also and they never just leave my packages. If I'm not home they leave a note and re-deliver the next day. Is this your experience with UPS? I live in SW Texas.

ups leaves my packages to. all they want to do is have u buy insurance to cover product. fed ex leave packages too. when i stayed  in a bad area they didn't leave packages. now i stay in a good area they leave packsges. so maybe its were u stay come to think of it.

I recently got a box from UPS and I had to sign for my box.

I've gotten boxes left in front of my door before... but I think it was USPS.

I like UPS the best...can't explain why...maybe its the brown shorts. :)
