On new years we hold a guinea pig meeting. Once a month, I try out a new recipe, and all my friends comeover with the idea that if the recipe is c**p, we go out for pizza.

In my culture, It is traditional to have  squash soup on New  year,  In my family we usually stay up all night to make it, then everybody eat a bowl or two before they start the year.  Then we party

its a tradition in my family, every year we get prime rib, and make home made mashed potatoes and have sparkling cider. but we usualy have appetizers too, like shrimp coctail, chicken wings, chips and salsa. Then some kind of desert!!! ahahahha its really fun!!

I like to attend appetizer parties,  u know with lots of hors doevers. But my recent fav is toasted ravioli. yummo!

We ALWAYS have to have pork & saurkraut.  It is the "good luck" food in our part of the states.
