Mine is Abbey Road. What is yours and why?

I love all the songs on Abbey Road. Especially "Because" it has the most wonderful harmonies ever recorded. Your thoughts?

  1. Although you mock my question, I believe that the Revolver is their best album. And of course their best song is T'n'K.

    A band named 801 performed this song in the 80's in a live concert much better that the Beatles.

    Its lovely.It managed to integrate meaningful lyrics and innovative recording into top 40 charts.  

  7. My favorite is Revolver. All of the songs are so incredible and it demonstrate how far ahead of their time, The Beatles were.

    - It's the first one I heard from them and most of my favorite songs by them are off of that album.

    I bought the BLUE album as well (1967-70), but I found that more often than not, I was listening to the RED album.  Of course, nothing compared to the thrill of buying one of their albums when it was released and groovin' to the greatest band on the planet at that time!

    As for actually applying a needle to vinyl (LP's):  The White Album.  I'm positive.  Went through several needles,  I recall.  Still have the LP.
