What is your favorite Chain restaurant and why? Do you prefer fast food or a sit down?

Example: Fast food because I'm on the go. Sit down because I like to relax and eat good food.

I love "Joe's Bar and Grill" although there aren't as many as Applebees or Fridays.

Great food and service.

Its not fast food and I definitely think its incomparable to large chains like Outback, Fridays, etc..

Ruth's Chris or Texas de Brazil.  Both have fabulous cuts of meat and are pure decadence.  

I prefer sit down meals because I can focus on the company and socialize.

1) Spago's because the food is excellently prepared and the quality is outstanding. I've never had a bad meal. It never gets old dining there.

My favorite chain fast food restaurant would be McDonald's only because I love there fries even though I eat there I don't get fat. But for a sit down restaurant I to a lot with my friends but they aren't chain so yea. I live in seattle btw and they have a lot of food choices so my friends and I don't like going to chain restaurants that much. But we like going to the Cheesecake Factory a lot :]

My favorite chain restaurant is probably Souplantation.

And i prefer sit down restaurants over fast food. I feel like fast food is exactly that fast food. You eat fast, don't really have time to sit and relax, and later have a stomach ache. :) At a sit down, it's more relaxed and slow paced. You have time to talk and chit chat with friends or loved ones while you wait and then while you eat your meal.

However, both are pretty good ideas. For busy times, head to fast food places, for times when you have some spare time, head for a sit down restaurant.

While I'm not really one for chain restaurants, I'd say that The Bonefish Grill is EXCELLENT if you enjoy seafood.  I also think that Outback Steakhouse is a good choice if you're looking for a great steak without hitting your wallet too hard.  

I prefer to sit down, have a glass of beer/wine and relax while I dine out.

I love The Cheesecake Factory for the food, the atmosphere...and the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake. They also have a great Cobb Salad.

I prefer sit-down restaurants because I usually only eat out when I am with friends or family. It is a nice way to relax and enjoy the food and their company.
