St Jude's ...they help children.

you can go to the place bag the food yourself, and they send it to the place that needs it most.

Scottish Rite Hospital because I was born with a birth defect and the fixed it. :-)

Operation Southern Comfort. (In relation to the south, not the alcohol). It is a small organization out of Central New York. What I love about it is that it still is focusing on the ravaged areas in and surrounding New Orleans, Louisiana. This past February I went with my school through this organization to St. Bernard's Parish, right near New Orleans. The amount of destruction nearly 3 years later is crazy. I love that Southern Comfort hasn't forgotten about these Gulf Coast residents.

World Vision...you get to sponsor a child- help improve their education, give them a lift out of poverty, communicate with them via post mail, send and receive pictures. Visit if you wish.  Plus they get a great Christian foundation.

my favorite charity is invisible children... they help out children in africa by raising money to build schools...me and my friends helped raise money for it back in high school..

Orphanages in 3rd world countries.  My heart goes out to kids and our poor in the US is rich compared to the poor in other  countries.
