my favorite version is the one Victorias Secret used in their commercial one year haha

I also like What Child is This, Let it Snow by Dean Martin, & Caroling, Caroling by Nat King Cole

My favorite "serious" Christmas song is "O Come All Ye Faithful." I love the music; I love the message; and I love the fact that it's one of the few "light" Christmas songs that our local light-rock station doesn't play to death every Christmas. Of the (admittedly few) recorded versions I've heard of that song, I have to say I like Nat King Cole's version the best.

My favorite humorous Christmas song is probably "Rusty Chevrolet" by Da Yoopers. It's a hilarious song about a guy barreling through the snowy countryside in an unbelievably decrepit Chevy, with various car parts falling off and/or breaking down all around him; a "big blue cloud of smoke" engulfing the car; and people laughing their heads off at him as he goes by. Da Yoopers sing this song to the tune of "Jingle Bells" in delightfully goofy voices. You have to hear the song from beginning to end to get the full effect, but the chorus goes:

Oh, rust and smoke, the heater's broke, the door just blew away;

I light a match to see the dash and then I start to pray-hay;

The frame is bent, the muffler went, the radio, it's okay;

Oh, what fun it is to drive this rusty Chevrolet!
