I like both Halloween and christmas.(i know, 2 completely different holidays) I love the spookyness of halloween and all the horror stuff. i'm a big fan of all things supernatural. and i think its cool knowing that it was started in ancient times by the druids. But I also love christmas. i love the whole season of christmas. i always think of the old Norse people celebrating Yule (where christmas came from) during this time. and its cool that we kept their traditions.

My favorite Holiday is from Thanksgiving to New Years. I think it's beacuse I get to spend time with the family and get to relax.

Arbor Day. It's the ONLY Day of the Year, that we give BACK to Mother Earth (Who gives Us EVERYTHING), & say "Thank You" -by planting a Tree. :)

Fourth of July...it has all the necessary ingredients....family, picnics, baseball and fireworks.

When I was growing up, my Dad and I, and later my friends and I would always go to the ball game if the Pirates were at home.  (They were always home on either Memorial Day or Fourth of July, and sometimes both)  The great thing was that game time was 10:30 AM, so you still had time for a full day's activities after the game.

Christmas would be my favorite....but it's in the winter...ugh.  The people in the Southern Hemisphere have it good....Christmas comes in the middle of summer for them.  Open presents, fix lunch on the grill, and then off to the beach...now THAT'S how to celebrate Christmas.

Walpurgisnacht....and / Or Hollows Eve where the veil between the living and the dead is the thinnest. I lost my gfather on hollows eve and it is also a sad occasion for me at the same time but i always and comforted that his crossing over was easy

Christmas! I loved it when I was little, getting presents and getting to see everyone in my (very large) family. Now that I'm a mom, I love putting my son to bed on Christmas Eve night and then setting out all the gifts. When everything is out, my husband and I snuggle down on the couch to watch "A Christmas Story" and eat the cookies that were left out for Santa.
