What is your favorite Nintendo franchise and why?

My favorite is the Zelda franchise with pokemon at 2nd.

You can choose any franchise you want but please say why.

Mario is the best. He is the best known video game character.  You can get into the games and become addicted. There are so many levels and different environments. it's great. Nintendo keeps making more and more mario based games.

Tie between Zelda and Mario.

I love Zelda just because it always holds such epic stories, and long detailed game-play; while Mario games are just classic, entertaining, and always a blast to play :)

Zelda.... NO CONTEST at all.

The story line rocks, the music is amazing and epic and memorable.  The character design is creative and what game has more treasure chests, annoying fairies, or detailed world maps?  I can go back and play Zelda OoT what, ten years later (God that long...) and still love it.  Every single Zelda game made by Nintendo has been fantastic and no one can complain about it.  (Except for MAYBE Phantom Hourglass) Hopefully I'll be playing my Ocarina, saving Zelda and humming Saria's Song for many years to come.

Mario franchise comes in second.  Galaxy was great and I (unlike a lot of people) absolutely LOVE Super Mario Sunshine.  Oh, and like most people I also love Yoshi.  The various sports Mario spin-offs however are what make the series.  Who but Mario, Yoshi, Peach, Luigi, Yoshi and friends can spend the day playing soccer, baseball, tennis, golf and strange demented board games (Mario Party).

Zelda, because I grew up with it. My mom played Zelda and Zelda 2 for the NES when I was a baby, and Zelda 2 was the first game I ever beat. Video games are an enormous part of my life, and the Zelda series is very representative of my obsession.

My absolute favorite is the Legend of Zelda franchise because it has the best game play I have ever experienced.

I like how there is some mind bending puzzles, great action, awesome story and usually pleasing and great graphics to look at.

Plus Link is my favorite game character of all time.

I loved Fire Emblem. I love turn-based strategy RPGs like that. The gameplay was awesome, and the story was great. I loved how the Wii game was a continuation of the Gamecube one, and that many characters returned for the sequel.

Another thing I liked was the fact that if one of your characters died in battle, then they were lost for the remainder of the game. This led to many frustrating battles in which I had to keep replaying them so that my characters did not die.

METANIGHT!!!!!!!! from kirby hes a hectic **** guy with his asome attacks in brawl!!!!!!!! i also like mario along with Marth hes a pretty cool guy with his mad attacks , i used to like pokemon but i gets old i dont mind rayquaza though hes cool. I like link too he looks like a kid from my school that my friend chris a nd i joke about, i think he likes link and loves olimar along with ice climbers and mario bros.
