    Getting together as a Family, this is the time when my whole family actually gives thanks to Allah and they pray! So that is  the Best part for me although it would be good if they carried it out after the month is over too. Ohhhh I love iftar time all sorts of different foods!

    having iftar with teh whole family, going over to relatives with plates of food and breakign fast togther and praying togther and then collapsing on the sofas and chatting and laughing togther. yay

  4. I'm Pakistani, and I love these triangular, crispy things called samoosas...my dad makes them, and they're really nice!!! ;)

  6. i have no traditions cause i dont have family to do them with. the closest thing i have is that ive been buying myself one of those toy lanterns every year. lol

  7. i don't have any traditions, back in the day when i lived with my family i would always enjoy iftar, going into the kitchen and smelling the food cook and having all the dates sitting out just waiting... now that I'm married and my husband works late I'm home alone with my daughter and I'm not a cook so what ever can i can open or frozen food i might have is what i get to eat. the excitement of ramadan isn't what it use to be =(

  9. Fridays, saturdays and sundays everyone brings food to the masjid and we all eat there rather than having to dash home to eat Iftar at home and then return.

    My favorite tradition is the one I'm creating this year of learning to cook Tunisan food and breaking the fast with my husband here at home and praying together. Nothing better than unity for the sake of Allah that fills our hearts.
