What is your favorite Saigon hotel?

sheraton saigon - i stayed in the serviced apt which was clean, spacious, international class, friendly service and superb view of hcmc. it is very central. only within walking distance to all the nice cafes, restaurants and clubs. and it is not too far away from many tourist attractions in hcmc.

I've only stayed at a few hotels in Saigon, but I liked the Renaissance Hotel the best, great views of the river, great breakfast, close to most of the attractions in District 1 and right next door to my favorite bar, the Seventeen Saloon.

i only stayed in this 3 hotels in saigon

1) Omni Saigon - out of town....internet use is free.. but charges for room service and laundry are expensive.  they do provide shuttle bus to city.

2) New World hotel - walking distance to ben thanh market.  charge for internet service, room service and laundry.  buffet spread is not too bad...

3) kimdo royal hotel - a 3 star hotel.  experience once the power failure and the backup power rebooted in a while.  the hotel is cheap and clean.  free internet use.  cheap in charges for room service (though the selection is not a lot) and laundry.  Even the massage and use of spa service is cheap only at USD 10.  walking distance to ben thanh market and its surrounding has lots of nice restaurants, shops, $ exchanger and saloons (for ladies to do manicure, pedicure etc)
