What is your favorite basketball team and why?

I don't know your favorite team but i know who it should be (its mine :)

The Suns they are the best, funnest, and best to watch.

Steve Nash (2x time MVP, all-star, best ever point guard runnin the show)

Amare Stoudemire (arguably the best PF, explosive, and best AND 1 player)

Shaq (old but still funny and dominate when he wants to be, plus he makes Amare way better)

Barbosa (Brazilian blur)

Raja (he's feisty and fun to watch)

Diaw (lil chunky monkey who steps up in big situations)

I've been an Indiana Pacers fan since I started following basketball.  Yes they suck like an overpowered Hoover on overdrive right now, but there was a time when they were an exciting team to watch and a true TEAM in every sense of the word (really, I'm not lying here).  

Back in the 90s (up to their 2000 Finals team), they had no real dominant superstar on the team (like the Bulls) but they had quality players like Mark Jackson, Rik Smits, Jalen Rose, Dale & Antonio Davis, Derrick McKey, Travis Best, Sam Perkins, Chris Mullin, Austin Croshere and of course, Reggie Miller.  They had real team chemistry (unlike the c**p they have now) and guys that could pass the ball, shoot the ball, rebound, do the necessary dirty work AND be upright citizens off the court.  Plus they were darn exciting to watch come playoff time, because you were always guaranteed to see something special from Reggie.  Win or lose, they were always a team you could be proud of.

These days, well...sigh...but I still hope for the day that those glory days can return.  With the changes they've made in the off-season I think they are making some steps in the right direction (as they promise every year), but I'll wait and see how the new season progresses before passing judgment.

My guess is that you like the Cavs and the Lakers.

I just plain like NBA men's basketball and I don't care who is playing.

I enjoy a game when the ref's are calling it fair.

I'm starting to like the Laker's, now that Kobe is passing the ball.

I love to watch Shaq and hope his feet will hold up.

I'm really enjoying Daron Williams and Cris Paul and comparing Williams and Boozer to Stockton and Malone.

I didn't think they could take Stockton and Malone's place but they are giving a good go at it.

I like Boston's team this year.

I see the Mav's taking a back seat and hated to see them trade Nash and have the Admiral retire.

Just love to watch a good game

I guess you could say, I'm a fan to all players/NBA.

Can't wait for the end of October. I do have a favorite team but If you won't tell - I won't tell - You have to guess. lol

I like the Houston Rockets because they were the first team I've watched on NBA. Since the "Dream" days, they hae a very loyal fan base and watching games have only strengthened my loyalty to the Rockets. There is always excitement and even though we havent made past the first round, there is always hope for the next season. Finally, karma pays off with Artest creating a new big 3. Go Rockets Go! Sounds cheesy but it is what it is. A diverse team full of different characters striving for one common goal- The Championship.

sorry i can't agree with you on those teams, so i know i wont get best answer for this, but i will let you know mine!!!

denver nuggets, i just love my man iverson i could go on and on about him but im sure you don't want to here it and to me he is the best better than kobe you can say no way he is, but he is, just really look into iverson deep do some research on him watch his dvd that he has out called "the answer" just looked at everything that he has accomplished in his career go to youtube, bottom line is take away kobes ring that he has yet to prove he can win one without one of the best center in the NBA (shaq) and compare them and then tell me if you still believe that kobe is better than iverson, yeah ok he led his team the the finals so did iverson, sorry can't NO INDIVIDUAL PLAYER  IN THE NBA LEAD A TEAM LIKE IVERSON DID BY THEM SELFS, they both got drafted in 1996 iverson was so dominant, hear what im saying iverson was dominant(just could never get a good team together thats all he needed, but broke lots of records) IVERSON'S HEART WAYS MORE THAN HE DOES, lets see melo, i loved him from jump street i watched him a through out college i love his game the way he plays, he still has lots of growing to do and he's coming up real quiet i dont think people realize it, kenyon martin you got to love him your crazy if you dont, his energy that he brings to the game is great, he another player that is very underrated, has been on of my top 10 favorite players for a very long time and will continue to be on my fav list, the only thing that denver lacks is the DEFENSE as you know but i really do truly believe that we will be better at that, and you know that if we had defense we would be the most dangerous team in the west, because denver is stacked with great players!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the Heat cause they won the championship 2006 which may not seem important cause from 2000 to now they were the best team who won the championship they won there first franchize title they won the championship from trailing 0-2 and came back and won 4 games and I think you like the Lakers or the Suns
