  1. Truthfully...the same as it is all year long Russian Imperial Stouts. In the fall the breweries start release the bourbon barrel aged versions more and more. d**n a Bourbon Aged Imperial Stout is so dreamy.

    Aside from that I like getting Dortmunders (the true Oktoberfest beer)...the only time you'll see me seeking out lagers. Crisp, bready flavor to it...so much more flavor than your average lager. I usually break out my Liter mugs and my boot for these ones.

    But normally this is the time of year I switch heavier ales like Barleywines and Quadrupels. Beers that a heavy and filling. Keeping you warm on a chilled night.

  2. Almost any Oktoberfest beer is good.

    Victory Festbier (Oktoberfest) is my favorite

    Other good ones:

    Paulaner Oktoberfest

    Saranac Oktoberfest

    Beck's Oktoberfest


  3. Fall is the best time for Heffe Weisen. I like Pauliner in a glass.
