  1. hearing true Italians speak

I loved listening to Giuliano, Filippo & Genaro on the teleconferences on team meetings we had.

Then the whole team seemed to get outsourced to India for some obvious reason, I miss hearing that in the morning.  At least I have a job in federal sector now so I can't get outsourced again.

I have been all over Italy and have come to love Apulia (and Calabria) very much.

This part of Italy can be visited without all the tourist hoards further north.

  11. Why do you ask, are you going there? The area around Venice and Venice is my favorite, especially the mountains North of Venice. I have a friends who live in the area as well, food is fantastic. Carnival in Venice is a must. My friends there warn against going to southern Italy, too many rip off artists.
