I'm looking for a good book to read, and i would just like to know of some of the good books out there.

I Like the Pendragon Series.

Here's the Summary on the Back of book one, Because I Don't think I Could Explain it Right:

Denduron.

Bobby Pendragon is a seemingly normal fourteen-year-old boy. He has a family, a home, and even Marley, his beloved dog. But there is something very special about Bobby.

He is going to save the world.

Here's a list of books i personally think everyone should read in their life.

-fight club by Chuck Palahniuk: if you like the movie, you'll like the book even more. Pretty much anything by chuck is amazing though.

-To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee: this is a classic. you'll probably have to read it in school, but it's amazing.

-Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess: this is a futuristically set novel meant to show how controlling the government can be. It's somewhat of a satire, and it's realllllly good once you get past the weird slang.

-Brave New World-this again is a  futuristic satire but it's less gruesome. you'll probably end up reading this too.

-Perks of Being a Wallflower-I think this is a modern catcher in the rye. it's a coming of age story.

-The Great Gatsby-classic

-The Jungle- This book made me vegetarian. it's so powerful.

-A Tale of Two Cities: love love love this one. Charles Dickens is pretty difficult to read but you feel so accomplished when you finish.

-Lord of the Flies

-Running With Scissors- this is a black comedy. you won't believe that the things that happen to the narrator are true, but it is.

me personally the best books i like have to be interesting..i like reading about rock stars and how the life in the day of being one is so cool..how they kick there addictions and being on the road..those books are pretty straight foward...i have the heroin diaries of nikki sixx

and the book SLASH..i find them very interesting..hope that helps..go to a borders and read like 2 pages..u might get hooked like i did...

the twilight series, the best book ever. well its about this girl bella who lives with her dad in forks. On the first day of her new high school she sees a guy named edward.Edward isnt the typically guy becuase he is a vampire. bella and edward fall in love. if u want a better summary, go to wikipedia and type in twilight the novel. THIER IS 4 SERIES, 1st one is twilight, 2ND is new moon, 3RD IS ECLIPS, 4TH IS breaking dawn.

Twilight by stephenie meyers is really good. I recommend you read it...

It's basically a love story between a vampire & a human girl, the way the author describes the characters and events makes it a great book.

My favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. It's about this teenager, Holden Caulfield, who gets expelled from his prep school and spends a weekend in New York before going home, so his parents have cooled off about finding out about the expulsion. It's all about what he does over the weekend, and his observations about the people and world around him.

You should read Twighlight.  I got all the books two weeks ago, and I read all four of them already.  I got really obsessed over them, actually.  The movie is coming out in November or December.  I would recommend reading the books first.  They are probably way better.  Really awesome books.  I don't usually get obsessed over books like this.  The only other books I like just as much are Harry Potter.  I wouldn't say they are BETTER than Harry Potter.  I would say they are equally as well written and enticing.  Here is the order of the books:

Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series!  They make me laugh out loud.  

About a 30ish woman who is a bonds enforcement officer "bounty hunter"  But she is not very good at is.  Funny funny funny.  

First one is called One for the Money.  There are currently 14, plus small "in between the numbers" books.

anita blake series by laurell k hamilton. they are about a necromancer who raises zombies for a living in a world where vamps are legal and were animals exist. she gets caught up in all sorts of nasty vamp, were animal, fey, siren buisness. the series is action sci-fi mystery horror comedy and lots of love story crazy s*x scene everything. theyre well written and verrry entertaining

This is a big one though, about 675 pages. But sooo soooooo good!

Twilight!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best book ever! Its a series of four, and the fourth just came out this summer. Its about a girl Bella who moves in with her dad (her parents are divorced) to give her mom some time with her new step-dad. She meets a boy at her new school, Edward, who is...different. He and his adopted siblings are gorgeous beyond belief like him, their skin is ice cold and pale white, his eyes change from topaz to black, and he looks at Bella so strangely when the see each other. Then one day in the school parking lot a car goes out of control and almost hits Bella. Then at the last second Edward appears and stops the car with his hands, and Bella knows she saw him all the way at the other end of the parking lot. She seriously begins to wonder who and what Edward is. This is a compelling love story that you won't be able to put down! Read it!

I love the clique series. It is about teenage girls and all of the struggles that they go through. The main characters are the girls considered the 'popular' girls who are rude to everyone in order to stay at the top. When a new girl comes, she has to find a way to deal with them and fit in.
