  13. Wow... most of the books mentioned are terribly shallow (not Pride and Prejudice or 1984; some of the other ones).

Says a lot about teenage girls nowadays.

I personally loved The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.  It was just such a powerful story and made me think about things I normally wouldn't even imagine...  Plus it made me resolve to adopt a kid when I get married. =)

The whole book was so sad and the ending was bittersweet, but the book as a whole was absolutely perfect.  Hands down one of the best books I've ever read.

Of course, that's just one of my favorite books.  Ask the question another day and I'd probably say Return of the King or My Sister's Keeper... Or some other book.  So keep in mind that this isn't my only favorite book. =)

  14. Can't Get There From Here by Todd Strasser.

It's an unpopular book, and it's really depressing, but I love the writing and the characters and it's all too true.

  15. i absolutely love the other Bolyn girl its my absolutely BEST book i have ever read!!!!!!!!!

and i hate to read!and i read it twice in the same summer if u saw the movie the book is like 100000 times better

the reason i love it so much is cause it is romantic and has true love and all that great stuff

i don't know how old u r but i would say w8 till u r at least 14 before u read it because besides the fact that it has romance it also has adultery and stuff so 14 is a good age

i hope i helped and BTW all of my friends loved it tooooo!!!!! and its kinda a ruff start but after page 400 u will not be able to put it down

    whole thing about 750 pages

  16. Ishmael.

  17. To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee

Such an amazing story that I love everytime I read it. I find myself caught up in everything no matter what. Truly incredible.

  18. My favorite books are definitely parts of the Harry Potter series, especially the seventh book. Also mangas like 'Bloody Kiss' and 'Alice-Chan Overdrive' They're my favorites because their just so intricate and detailed. Plus, if I can read it over and over again without being bored, it's definitely a new favorite. ^^

  19. Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell

I like reading about the old south. I think I was born in the wrong century!

  20. How To Kill A Mockingbird because it shows the tragedy of racial prejudice.

  21. Twilight is mine. but I'm not even sure what makes it so good. It's probably the characters, and the way the author (Stephenie Meyer) writes it. some people say its the sexual tension though. idk.

  22. World War Z by Max Brookes

It is fictional collection of people's accounts after an apocalyptic world-wide infestation.  the author/"reporter" interviews people who survived, and gets stories about their experiences before, during, and after the events of the 'Zombie Wars' and how they relate.  All the stories are interconnected through global events. Very good book, one of the few books I just could - not - put - down. It's funny and thought provoking too.

Other favorites are 1984 (shivers), Animal Farm, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Zombie Survival Guide (same author) and This Mans Army.

  23. The Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer.

(The newest one, The Time Paradox, is my favourite, and then the original Artemis Fowl is my second choice.)

I love how Eoin-sensei makes it so plausible that the People could really exist! I never knew I liked Science-fantasy before I read Artemis Fowl.

Not to mention the characters are all great! Artemis was even likeable when he was still all criminal mastermind-ish.

And I love Eoin-sensei's writing style. He and Stephenie Meyer are my writing idols (Miss Stephenie because she can take a story that, by any other author, I would never even read the first sentence, but her writing style is so amazing that I can't stop reading her works.)

  24. I personally like the gossipgirl series. I love the way how I can never put the book down, serisouly, whenever I get through with one, I HAVE to go and get the next one. I love to read about other peoples lives too. haha call me crazy. Answer mine pleaseee : http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...

  25. The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux (I just love the entire story. The character of Erik is fascinating. He's insane and rather creepy, but at the same time, he's sympathetic, tragic, and still has good in him.)

Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (It's a simply fabulous novel. All the characters are great and I've fallen in love with all of them (not literally, and yes, even the twenty billion minor ones, and even Marius and Cosette, who bored me in the beginning) and the way Hugo tells the story is beautiful. It's probably the closest a book has ever come to making me cry, except maybe Phantom.)

    ♥M♥

  26. 1984. It made me think a lot about how this world functions...

  27. "Colors of the Mountain" by Da Chen

I loved it entirely. It's a memoir about a boy going through school during the Cultural Revolution (China).  Not only is it inspiring, but it really draws you in. It's a fantastic book. I recommend it 100%

  28. Almost every book I read becomes my favorite but the one I can read over and over is The Raven by Poe

  29. right now its

    The Unberable Lightness of Being
