  1. I heard the K2 Silencers and K2 Public Enemys(a bit stiffer than the Silencers)are really good, but I've never tried them personally.

Get your skis used, like last year's model or something. They'll probably be just as good and like $100 less!

  2. line and armada

  3. Rossignol Bandit series or K2 Apache series.  I dont ski park, but these all mountain style skis are GREAT for everything else.  Nimble enough to rip GS turns on groomers, and beefy enough to plow through crud and tear though pow.

  4. Rossignal

  5. K2 is a pretty solid company, can't really go wrong. If you want PURE park skis go with the fugitive. All-mountain look at the silencers (i have a pair, pretty good skis), Public enemy's or the seth's.

    Other freestyle ski companies:

    armada

    4fnt

    Line (now owned by K2)

    ninthward

  6. if u want park skis that are what the pros use go with 4frnt, salomon, or k2, but 4frnt specializes in park skis so thats what i got about a month ago, they are sick in powder and park but if your not really experienced k2 might be better, i also have a pair of k2 mogul skis which i am in love with and some sal. park skis that rip too so any of those companies will work

  7. k2 is bling, line works

  8. Atomic race 8/9, quality racing skis

  9. Look, all modern skis from the big brands do a good job. The differences between maufacturers are exaggerated (by the companies themselves!). The absolute best way is to demo them first. That way you will see if they suit you and your level of skill. Some stores hire demo skis/high performance skis. The hire may cost a little more, but is well worth it. Then they will probably take the hire off the price of skis if you end up buying them. It may be sensible to hire a couple of different pairs at once and give both a burst. Take the advice of the store expert on sizing, model, brands, etc. Tell them your experience, intentions, etc. If you can do this, it is far better than just deciding on a brand and buying a pair.
