If almond chicken is the same dish as Gai Ding then I really like it and it was my Mother's favourite.

Personally, I really like Ja Doo Wings as well as Shrimp in Lobster sauce.  I live only 2 blocks from a massive Chinese Buffet Restaurant and I love to go there....I really don't believe there is anything I don't like.  However, I have tried Chinese Food in Hawaii on several of my visits but I won't do it anymore because it is really Chinese food and the food I have grown to really love has been modified to North American tastes.  

In the UK on visits I have found it to be different still...an adjustment I'm sure to UK tastes.

What kind of Chinese cuisine are we talking - Mandarin? Szechuan?  Cantonese?

I love Char Siu Bao (manapua, dim sum), pot roast pork with tofu, Gao, char siu (bbq pork, the red meat), rice cake, pork hash, half moon (what mainlanders call "pot stickers"), pork chow mein (not the "white" version with those crispy noodles - gross! - , but the pan fried noodles version).  Cake Noodle!  YUMM!

Gotta stop, getting hungry and no GOOD chinese close by!
