  1. Cinque Terra because it is so secluded.

  2. My answer might be influenced by the fact I'm born (and I'm still living) in Tuscany but this is definitively the nicest region of Italy.

Previous answer says Cinque Terra (but it should have written Cinque Terre); I disagree since that's a very limited resort, ,just amazing sea and wild nature, really wonderful, but nothing really special. Here in our region we have many  places similar to Cinque Terre but not only this; in Tuscany we have really a lot of cities and sites that no any other Italian region can say to have in their own surrounds.

Just to be concise we have the seasides and the islands, the rivers and the lakes, the mountains and the hills, the woods, and the green is wherever, even in the towns. We have a lot of wonderful  medieval cities ( Florence, Pise, Siena, Lucca, Arezzo, etc.) and small towns (San Gimignano, Pienza, Chiusi, Volterra ,etc.) Our history is full with artists as Dante, Giotto, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, etc.,

Last but not least everywhere in Tuscany you can taste good food and good wines (our Brunello and our Chianti Classico are famous all over the world as well as our renowned kitchen).

I'm sure I've forgotten something since we have so many things that's impossible to recall of them (also we are in a favourite position as to the weather, never too hot or too cold, just temperate). Not yet convinced ?? Then give a look to the link here below and you'll definitively fall in love with my region.

Looking forward to welcome you here....Ciao

  3. I lived for six years in Napoli.  I loved it every minute.  I know some people say Napoli is dirty or uncouth, but the people there are very friendly and welcoming.  The food is great, my favorite kind of Italian food.  Also, it is close to Ischia, Gaeta, Pompeii, Ercolaneo, Vesuvio, Sorrento and many other wonderful places.

Certainly Rome, Venice and all of Tuscany are just as wonderful, and I thoroughly enjouyed my visits to those places, but Napoli felt like home (and still does though I live in USA now).

  4. Rome, the eternal city..

  5. I'm Italian and I stay in Arezzo...I love Milan and Florence...!

  6. i like so much my city, pompei...

it's the city where i was born, and it's so nice in all the periods of the year...

it's not too cold in winter, because it's near to the sea...

it's not too hot in summer for the same thing...

this city it's very nice too see, infact here comes people for all the world, for visit the ruins and the beautiful church of the madonna del rosario... i think it's a great city!! i hope that you can see it in your life!!!

  7. It is difficult to pick a city from Italy. If I had to choose only one that would be Florence (Venice is my second choice).

The museums, the atmosphere of the past, the river, the bridges, the old style buildings, everything gives you a reason to admire that city and want to visit again and again (3 times for me).
