  1. I like Manhattan Beach somewhat because it's north so close to L.A. and the airport but still South Bay.  I think it's the easiest for people to live in and commute to other parts of the city.  There's a lot to do there.  Hermosa is my second favorite because of the pier.  Neither is very affordable though and land is typically hard to come by.

Of those, Hawthorne and Torrance are generally considered not as nice because they're farther from the ocean.  El Segundo is somewhat industrial.  Hermosa is young and hip because of the pier area.  Redondo is nice but far south, perhaps a bit older than the other beach cities.  Gardena is really inland on the 110, not really south bay.

  2. Niether because they are in America.

  3. Redondo Beach!

Ive lived all around south bay and Redondo is my favorite and where I live now. The Hermosa is a lot of fun, torrance is a great place for familys. Hawthorne, Gardena, and San Pedro are all ghetto and run down, nothing like they used to be.

  4. Manhattan Beach.

  5. los angeles...everything good happens there

  6. I don’t know what “Question” is talking about Torrance has it’s own beach and ranked one of the safest cities in the United States. It is certainly not in the same category as Hawthorne. My favorites are:

    · Torrance for its safety, beach, restaurants, shopping, schools and close to the freeways.

    · Manhattan and Hermosa for their safety, beaches, restaurants, unique small shops.

    · Redondo for pretty much the same reasons, but the crime rate is higher than the others and the schools are not as good.

    · The west side of Palos Verdes because it is not as hot as the east side. It is beautiful and quite, each home is unique, but very expensive and far from any freeway. The mall there is always empty even during Christmas and the schools are excellent.

El Segundo is safe and close to LAX, but too far from everything else and too industrial

There are isolated parts of Lomita and Harbor City that are nice, but they have lousy schools and they are patrolled by the Sheriffs Department.

Hawthorne, Gardena, San Pedro, Lawndale, Carson and Wilmington do not even come close to the others.

  7. Manhattan Beach for the same reasons listed by a previous response from another user.

  8. LOS ANGELES BECAUSE OF DISNEY LAND

next is SAN DIEGO BECAUSE OF SEAWORLD AND THE ZOO
