What is your favorite cold salad that you make at home.

  1. Cucumber Salad

    Slice cucumbers

    Add Ranch or sour cream

    Add a little white vinegar

    Stir and chill for 15 minutes in fridge and serve.

    If using sour cream add some dill seasoning along with salt & pepper in addition to the vinegar.  


  2. Well ...vegggie mix up .

    Its like you`d have to mix several veggies

    Capsicum,carrot,cucumber,a little onion ,

    green peas , green leaves chopped up ,

    beetroot if you like ,

    then  little mayoniese ,type a sweet .

    The white one .

    mix it all up and lemon ...pepper if you wish to !

    Finally ...chill before serve !

    It`ll be yum !

  3. I have 2 - potato salad & I make a 'sweet & sour pasta' - it's pasta, onion, vinegar, sweetened condensed milk, and carrots - so good!  

  4. What I do is chop romaine lettuce up, cut up tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, mandarin oranges, feta cheese...and serve it with raspberry vinaigrette dressing!

    2 cucumbers

    1 teaspoon kosher salt

    1 teaspoon white vinegar

    1/2 cup mayonnaise

    1/4 cup sour cream

    1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

    Freshly ground black pepper

    Peel and slice the cucumbers and put them in a glass bowl. Sprinkle them with salt and vinegar. Cover and let stand for 30 minutes. Pour off the excess liquid and drain in colander for about 30 minutes to allow complete drainage. Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, dill and pepper, and mix well. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.
