Foxtrot. To those who don't know better, the appearance is of ease, grace, and elegance (and perhaps some stiffness and lack of expression). If you're going to be good at it, you learn quickly that it takes a lot of control to pull off the look, and there's miles of room for individual expression.

Beginners tend to look on foxtrot as easy and boring. More advanced dancers look on it as the most difficult of the ballroom group, and it's never boring. Quite a dichotomy!

Contemporary because it lets you express yourself, or be creative and the routines are so original

It depends. I love dance in general, but i would have to say lyrical/contemporary. Once you get into it you can express everything your feeling at the moment. That's why when i get really upset i dance. I can take everything out on stage with me and give it to the audience.
