  1. Steak!

Go buy a whole, boneless ribeye around 15 lbs or so and divide by 8.

28 oz to 30 oz steaks with a little char and a slow finish?

    It never gets boring.

  2. My favorite dish is something that my family cooks. We call it "snap beans, ham and potatoes" and its pretty self explanatory. This is what you need:

    1 ham steak round cubed

2 medium potatoes skinned and cubed

    1 can green beans

    1/2 chopped onion (optional)

    1 large can tomato sauce

    salt

    pepper

3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce- adjust this to your taste

    2 tablespoons flour

    2 tablespoons oil

In a pot heat the oil then whisk in the flour until it turns brown, not black. Then add the onion and ham. Let the ham brown a bit. Next you can add the tomato sauce, potatoes, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce and let this cook until the potatoes soften, about 15 minutes. Then add the green beans and let it cook for another 5 minutes. Then enjoy.

My family eats it like this, kind of like a stew. I usually serve french bread on the side. My husbands family cooks some rice to serve it over. I hope you like it, we LOVE it!!!

  3. Chilli Con Carne is well simple and fit. Its just a matter of throwing a load of stuff in a pan and frying it.

  4. home made pizza

    dough, sauce, mozzerella, toppings

    bake in oven

  5. Stuffed Cabbage.  I don't use the sauce on it, just look for a good recipe and enjoy.  I have my "secrets" and don't give them out, but its great with some boiled potatoes and corn on the cob, or frozen corn.   Make a lot, it will cover two nights.

Cook cabbage till soft enough to roll with ingredients below:

*White rice cooked 1 cup done

    1-2 lbs. Hamburg

    marjoram 1 tsp

onion powder or minced not a lot

other spices that may interest you

*I use 1 beef bouillon cube to add flavor when cooking rice.

couple pats of butter in rice also.

    1 egg well beaten

Mix all above in large bowl

When cabbage is done enough to roll leaves, let cool, cut out core, and roll like a hot dot size up and layer in a coated pan w/Pam

Bake at 325 for about an hour until hamburg is well cooked, not pink.

They are delicious.  I don't like cabbage but I love them.

  6. Veggie soup :]

  7. Well I don't know what my favorite is exactly. I do love to cook and I love trying out new recipes. What I made for dinner tonight was called Chicken Divine. You just take frozen broccoli (thawed) and you can used canned or fresh cooked chicken. Put it in a baking dish. Take a can of Campbell's broccoli and cheese soup, diluted with milk. Pour over chic & broccoli. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over top. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 20 Min's. Serve over white rice. What my husband & I like to do for a little crunch is sprinkle some chow main noodles over top. Also, what you can do for easy, affordable recipes is go to www.kraft.com  I've been getting alot of awesome recipes from there.
