Le Trou is an old movie but really good.  I liked the Great Escape though much better.

My Favorite movie of all time is also very old. " Robin Hood" with Errol Flynn in the lead role.  I also like "Hunt for Red October" which is Tom Clancy's best work, although I liked Harrison Ford better as Jack Ryan.
