To answer your question, my favorite Wii game I've enjoyed playing is Okami (note I have Amaterasu as my avatar). It's just a very unique game that uses the Wii remote and Nunchuk to their full potential. The game is mostly about a wolf named Amaterasu that has to save the land of Nippon that is spread by darkness. You use your celestial brush (Wii remote) to paint all sorts of brush techniques on the screen. It's awesome. Some people say that they have a hard time with the controls and such but I thought they were easy and the best part of the game. There are many dungeons and countless enemies that you'll encounter on your adventure. Also, there are many tools and equipment as well as new skills that you'll learn.
