  1. I am including a full list of some of my favorites since I haven't seen the links to them yet in the above posts.

    No Greater Joy

I have been getting this magazine for about 5 years.  It is written by a Christian homeschool pastor and his wife.  All the articles areen't about homeschooling, but they all uplift the homeschooling lifestye.  Best of all, this magazine is completely free.  I have grown to like it more and more over the years.

    Homeschooling Today

I have been getting this magazine for about a year.  It has informative Christian articles that help keep me up to date with the Christian Homeschool movement.  I love the advertisements, so I can go to all the Homeschool websites advertised.

The rest of these magazines, I just read online.

    The Old Schoolhouse

This is a huge book.  I really enjoy flipping through the sample magazine mostly just to go to all the websites in the advertisements.

    Teach Magazine

This magazine's theme is putting the home in homeschooling.  I love that approach.

    Home School Enrichment

This one looks really fun.  I orderd my free sample, but it hasn't arrived yet.

    Homeschool Digest

In summary, I like them all.  I don't think I could pick just one favorite.

  2. I like HEM but mostly I just read HSing books or articles online.

  3. Homeschool Enrichment.

    Honestly I prefer blogs though!

http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/PathofL...  is mine, but from there you can browse random homeschool blogs, so much more realistic than magazines!

  4. I used to get several, towards the end I only read HEM, and The Old Schoolhouse magazine.

Presently I do not have any favorites home school magazines that I subscribe too, because to be honest with you they are to "perfect" in their portrayal of home schooling, and not very "real".

I would rather read the newsletters send out by the family man, http://www.familymanweb.com/  and his books, as well as several other "real family" stories about the daily ups and downs of home schooling instead of any magazines...

We do receive the Court Report from HSLDA as part of our membership, but that's it.

If you want to read a few magazines, you can always read them on line, and if interested subscribe to their on line free newsletters .

  5. My top favorite is This Old Schoolhouse, the articles are good and I get the free e-zine.

I also like Teach and Practical Homeschooler.

  6. Home Education Magazine

    www.homeedmag.com

A new one just started called

    Secular Homeschooling

  7. http://connections.organiclearning.org/

But mostly I just read the blogs of people I admire.
