What is your favorite kind of dance?

I like hip-hop because it is upbeat and fun and you can be yourself. But i also like ballet because just because it is a slow dance it requires a lot of focus to get each posture just right.

I love to watch break-dancing and ballet because I can tell they both are extremely difficult to master and take years to actually perfect. Also, the beauty of them both when executed correctly is ridiculous.

However, the ones that I love to DO are hip-hop and jazz, reason being that I love to let it loose and just dance, while ballet (which I hate doing, no offense) is so tight. Especially since jazz puts my favorite two loves together when it comes to dance: technique (but not overly focused on it) and creativity.

Jazz and lyrical are my favourites.

I also like ballet.

And some modern dances.. it really depends on the dance, it's kind of hit and miss.

I can choose between these three:

Hiphop- is SO fun because you can be yourself, be all additude-ish and its really fast so its good exersize.

Jazz- because jazz is just really really fun and helps alot with your dancing skills

lyrical- because when i dance lyrical i feel like i can really express myself and dance with my heart and soul

I personally like ballet because I feel like I can really express myself.

I also find the music calming and I like how I'm not only using my body, but my mind.

Jazz is fun for me too because I love the tricks and costumes for Competitive Jazz.

i like jazz and hip hop, but me and my sister, who was the only person who would partner with me love swing dancing, it is really fun even though we aren't very good at it!
